Now you can forget about pulling off or reeling in your solar blanket. The new Solar Sun Rings are passive solar swimming pool heating devices made from two sheets of heavyweight U.V. resistant vinyl. The upper clear layer holds insulating air and focuses sunlight on the blue colored lower layer. The blue layer absorbs about 50% of the sunlight, converts it to heat and the balance of the sunlight is allowed to pass through for deep water heating. Tested at the National Pool Industry Research Center, each Solar Sun Ring is proven to provide 21,000 BTU's of heat per day! The discs are held to each other by one of six magnets. Available with tropical tree design (main picture) or in plain blue (click lower picture) -- please specify below.
