Sea Klear's ZeroPhos is the world's most powerful phosphate remover. Made from a new technology concentrate, ZeroPhos removes twice as much phosphate as competitive brands -- 1,000 ppb per 20,000 gallons. Your pool water is constantly being invaded by phosphates -- a primary nutrient or food source for algae. If you starve algae of this important food source, it cannot grow. Phosphates enter your pool from a variety of sources, including:
* lawn & garden fertilizers
* chemicals & cleaners
* rainwater & fill water
* body fluids & waste
* decaying vegetation and more
These phosphates build-up in your pool water, providing a necessary food source and bloom environment for algae. Typically, algae is treated with harsh chemicals like algaecides or other sanitizing products. Sea Klear's Zero Phos continually removes phosphates as they enter the water, keeping phosphate levels to near zero to allow normal sanitizers to prevent algae growth. The results are no phosphate build-up, greatly reduced risk of algae, less filter maintenance, less vacuuming and cleaning and reduced pool maintenance. Available in one quart and one gallon bottles -- please specify below.

A technical note: All phosphate removing products are based on the element Lanthanum. Zero Phos uses Lanthanum Chloride which is soluble in water until it combines into Lanthanum Phosphate, while others use Lanthanum Carbonate which is not soluble.
