Payment Methods.
We accept money orders, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and Paypal. Our website is configured to automatically ship to the contiguous 48 US states plus Hawaii though we do ship worldwide with some restrictions -- please contact us for a quote if you live in another state or country.
Restocking and Return Policy.
Due to our speedy commitment to process orders, once the checkout process is completed we (or our distributors) will immediately pick, package and dispatch. A 15% restocking fee may therefore be assessed for orders canceled once the checkout process has been completed (20% for products returned to our Illinois distributor.) You are responsible for all shipping costs on unwarranted returns and you should retain proof of shipment until item is received by us. Unless informed otherwise, you should obtain authorization from PoolsOnly.com before returning any product by completing our RGA (returned goods authorization) form and waiting for us to contact you. Do not return any product without contacting us first. Refused or returned orders will be charged freight both ways and unauthorized returns will be refused. Returns and exchanges must be made within 30 days of purchase and include all literature, warranty cards etc. Your account will be credited the full amount of the returned item--less any applicable charges--only if the item is in original packaging, unworn and unused. Refunds and credits may take up to one week to be processed and mailed or posted to your account. Domestic returns should be shipped by UPS, FedEx or certified/registered USPS -- all others should only be shipped after first contacting us. PoolsOnly.com is not responsible for returns that are lost or damaged in shipment and suggests that you insure your returns. Clearance, sale and special order items may only be returned if defective and only for replacement, not refund. We do not accept returns on international shipments. All sales are final (no returns) on the following items: Pool chemicals, pool lamps and bulbs, alarms, heaters, pool liners (if opened or unfolded) solar sun rings and pool solar blankets (if opened or unfolded) and printed circuit boards. Full manufacturer warranties still apply.
Credit Card Verification.
In order to protect from fraudulent transactions your billing and shipping address is verified through your credit card company. If the billing address on the PoolsOnly.com order differs from the billing address on your bank records the order may be declined and not be processed until resolved. You are responsible for verifying that your information is correct and for notifying your credit card company to ensure your most up to date information.
Prices and Availability.
Some of our products (especially "close-outs" and "for sale" items) sell quickly and may no longer be available. Although our site is updated daily there may be a delay in reflecting the quantities of product on hand, especially during peak winter and summer months. Avoid missing out on our sale items by acting quickly! PoolsOnly.com makes every effort to ensure that the products we feature are available, but occasionally we discover that a product is not available for shipping (eg., it is out of stock, delayed, damaged or defective), in which case we will quickly notify you by e-mail or phone of our intention to fulfill or cancel the order. You will also have the option to cancel the order or exchange for another item. All prices, products and offers are limited to availability and subject to change at any time without notice. Current prices are not applicable to previous or future purchases. No rain checks unless specifically stated.
Privacy Statement.
We strongly value your privacy and will not rent, sell, give or distribute any personal information (including e-mail address) to any third party for any reason whatsoever, other than what is necessary to process an order or as required by law. While browsing the PoolsOnly.com website, we do not see or collect any credit card information (this is processed solely by Paypal and credit card companies), We may employ browser cookies for the sole purpose of enhancing your online experience with us. These cookies expire at the end of each session. We must collect identifiable information from you when you place an order, some of which may be shared with those who ship our products. However, this never includes credit card or payment information. When you place an order your data is transmitted via highly encrypted SSL -- the highest safety standard available.
Shipping and Handling.
All orders are shipped by the least expensive method unless we are directed otherwise. This could be via one of our local distributors, UPS ground, FedEx ground, USPS or common truck carrier (freight charges may apply when the item(s) exceed 150lbs.) If shipped by a distributor a tracking code may not always be available. Most orders are shipped within 24 hours and you can expect to receive the order within 2-5 business days depending on location (longer for international orders). Seasonal items may take longer due to high demand. Refusal to accept a delivery, for whatever reason, will result in a charge to your account for both arrival and return costs (plus any storage charges), pending resolution. You, or a designated person (eg. neighbor), are responsible for signing for items as necessary, though we do not request a signature on our standard UPS and Fedex ground deliveries unless the package is insured. We reserve the right to cancel -- or modify subject to your approval -- any order due to errors or miscalculations in stated shipping rates.
Warranties.
We do not handle warranty claims directly but pledge to assist you in any way we can. All of our products are guaranteed to be brand new unless stated and carry a full manufacturer's warranty. If you feel you have received a defective product please contact the manufacturer direct prior to contacting PoolsOnly.com. Terms and duration of warranties vary and different manufacturers have different definitions of "worn out," "defective" and "reasonable wear and tear." Our Rights and Disclaimer
We reserve the right to decline a sale to anybody for any reason. Possession of printed material from our website does not constitute a binding agreement. Products, pricing, and specifications are subject to change without notice. Product substitutions of equal or greater value may be necessary due to out of stock conditions. PoolsOnly.com is not responsible for typographical errors in descriptions and pricing, and the pictures on our web site should be seen only as representations and may not always be an exact match of the product(s) we ship. PoolsOnly.com disclaims any liability for injury or damage of any kind arising from the installation, use or inability to use any product we sell. It is the customer's responsibility to know that some products are required to be installed by a licensed contractor.
Governing Rules
Transactions between the customer and PoolsOnly.com shall be governed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflicts of law. By using our web site you hereby agree that any litigation regarding this agreement or any transaction between the customer and PoolsOnly.com shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and that you shall hereby -- without signature real or electronic -- submit to such jurisdiction and venue.
