Features: The new Pentair VF IntelliFlo delivers a new level of cost-efficiency due to its revolutionary motor and built-in microprocessor that programs the pump to work at an exact level -- and no harder. The result is 90% or more savings in energy consumption! This means the IntelliFlo uses 1/10th of the horsepower of other pumps (about 100 watts of electricity) and produces just 7-10 decibels -- about half the sound of a whisper. Intelliflo not only tells you when your filter is dirty, but it comes with built-in blockage detection and safety shut-off, and senses loss of prime, overheating, freezing temperatures and voltage irregularities -- automatically adjusting to protect itself from these harmful conditions.
