Features: Pentair's energy efficient Challenger pump has a transparent pot lid and extra-large strainer basket to extend time between cleanings. Unique diffuser and impeller provide excellent high pressure performance for all types of installations, and a one-bolt stainless steel clamp removes easily for quick access to internal parts. This means the dry end, or power end, can easily be removed for winterizing without disturbing the piping or pump support. No tools required for removing thumbscrew drain plugs for draining and winterizing. Two inch ports are designed for rapid priming and quiet operation. NOTE: This pump is available in standard and energy-efficient (EE) models (lower electricity bills!) -- we only sell the energy-efficient models as the small price difference is quickly returned in lower energy costs. Available in 1 hp (model 345205), 1 1/2 hp (model 345206), 2 hp (model 345208) and 3 hp (model 345209) -- please specify below.

To install this pump we recommend the following items: Schedule 80 CPVC nipple, teflon paste, PVC cement.
