This handy in-line silt and leaf canister is made by Hayward and fits standard vacuum-type pool cleaners (Hayward, Kreepy Krauly, Baracuda etc), usually between the first and second link from the skimmer. Traps fine particles before they end up clogging your pump basket or filter -- keeping your filter cleaner and your pump running longer.
