Hayward Navigator and Pool Vac Parts

Parts diagram shown is the Hayward Navigator, but all internal parts are the same. Explanation of parts:
* Wing kit -- two white half-moon shaped plastic pieces which attach to the two side pods (#26 in picture) [Common problem: holding pins on each pod often break off, causing wings to fall off]
* Shoe kit -- four rubber (or cork for vinyl-lined pools) shoes which attach to the pods, two on either side (#27) [Common problem: some pool shapes cause back shoes to wear out early]
* Pod kit -- two plastic legs which tilt up and down to make the cleaner move. The pods are screwed onto the sides of the main cleaner body (# 30) [Common problem: pods wear out prematurely due to shoes not being replaced on time]
* A-Frame kit -- two internal parts (shaped like upside down A's), each with two bearings that rock against the arms of an offset turbine to make the pods move up and down. This kit includes several spacers and fittings [Common problem: bearings on A-frame kit disintegrate, causing poor (or no) cleaner movement]
* Flap kit -- two flaps that connect to the front and back of cleaner (#23) [Common problem: pins holding flaps become loose due to wear in the lower body assembly]
* Turbine kit -- an internal, offset spinning turbine with a bearing on either end (#31) [Common problem: worn bearings or turbine cause the pods to lose synchronization, and the cleaner to stop moving forward]
* Gearbox -- an internal part that governs the right and left movement pattern of the cleaner (#14) [Common problem: dirt or small twigs often jam up the gearbox, making the cleaner not vary its turns]
* Cone-shaped wall or skimmer fitting (#32)
* Lower body assembly -- a rectangular frame to which all bottom cleaner parts attach (#22) [Common problem: front flap often points forward when holes in the lower body become enlarged]
* Access plate - a rectangular fitting (#29) held to the base of the cleaner by one screw (allows removal to clear debris caught in the spinning turbine)
